LESSON PROGRAM

M.Y. Equestrian offers private and group lessons for all levels, available for boarders or haul-ins. Lessons are tailored to each individual rider’s needs and abilities.

We currently have two school horses. Meet Stan and Shady! Both are owned my Miranda Yost and are an invaluable part of our program.

LESSON HORSES

  • SHADY

    Shady is a 15 year old Appendix gelding who is worth his weight in gold. Whether you are just starting out on the lead line or jumping 2’6 courses, he is ready to help you gain the skills and confidence needed to become a better rider.

  • STAN

    Stan is a 23 year old Warmblood gelding who has been with Miranda since she was 12. They made a great team showing together at the 1.25 level. Now Stan is enjoying semi-retirement and teaching the ropes to intermediate riders.

Monthly packages available. Haul-ins welcome.

Riders are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to properly groom and tack up their horse.  Students will need proper riding attire which includes an ASTM/SEI certified helmet, breeches, a fitted shirt tucked in, and boots with a heel.
